The plant covers a site of more than 2,700ha in the coastal commune of Hiep Thanh in Duyen Hai Town and has a design capacity of 78MW from 18 turbines.
The Tra Vinh Province People’s Committee has given the go-ahead to three investors to build the Hiep Thanh Wind Power Plant with a total investment of VND3.37 trillion (US$146 million).
